Are you ready to take this exam?

You can sit MFPHMI Part I 12 months after completing your primary medical degree; however you should note that the level of knowledge, skill and understanding required is what we would expect from a competent practitioner in Public Health Medicine.

Part II tests more complex skills and is normally taken after you have some experience of working in Public Health Medicine at Higher Specialist Training level. Part II is designed to test whether you are at a level appropriate for a senior public health medical practitioner.

When you are conferred as a Member of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine, it marks a major milestone on the path to becoming a specialist.

The Faculty of Public Health Medicine has over 300 Members and Fellows, who are experienced Public Health Specialists and leading experts in their field, representing a close-knit network of doctors in your specialty.
