76 doctors complete specialist training at RCPI

Certificates of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST) awarded to 76 doctors for 2021/ 2022

76 doctors in 13 specialties have been awarded Certificates of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST) this year in RCPI.

A CSCST is awarded to doctors who have successfully completed Higher Specialist Training and have demonstrated the advanced skills and knowledge required for practicing independently as a specialist, leading a clinical team and managing the everyday challenges of our health service.

On Friday 17 June, President Prof Mary Horgan and Dean Anthony O'Regan, along with board members of the Institute of Medicine, welcomed the new graduates at an awards ceremony during the Institute's Annual Summer Symposium.

Congratulations to you all on your graduation and the completion of your specialist training. This in essence marks the end of your formal training and the next step to consultant posts, and whilst formal training may end we will continue to learn and develop throughout our careers. You are now well placed to bring training to the next level. We hope to continue to support you in the future. Wishing you the very best of luck in your future careers.
